Prayer is the heartbeat of Summit. It is our lifeline to God and our ministry to each other. The beauty of the prayer ministry is that everyone can do it! If you know the Lord as your Savior, your prayers are a powerful of that relationship. We invite you to join in the ministry at Summit. Opportunities include:
- Prayer Ministry Team – Receive Summit’s Prayer List and pray each week for the needs of our church.
- Sunday a.m. Prayer Team – Prior to/during our Sunday morning gathering times, go through facilities and pray for God to do a mighty work in the lives of all who come our way. Also, pray for staff and leadership.
- Watchfire – Sunday Nights at 6:00 pm – Meet with others to pray for spiritual renewal, His church, and the world – Room C101
- National Day of Prayer and Fasting – the first Thursday of May – Sign up for half hour to hour intercession, as we unite with our Summit family and believers around America to humble ourselves before God, seek His face and His will. Visit our Resource Page – Spiritual Disciplines tab to download the first two resources: “The Disciples Prayer” which is a scriptural resource for praying, and “Fasting – The Forgotten Discipline” for some Biblical teaching on this spiritual discipline.
