Parents, check out this page for information about camp, from FUGE: https://fugecamps.lifeway.com/parents-2/
Every part of camp is purposefully designed to connect students back to God’s Word. With highly trained FUGE staff leading the program, students experience daily worship, Bible study, and personal quiet time, while group leaders are free to focus on building relationships with their students.
Students are placed into groups by grade completed for recreation and Bible study. During Track Times, students choose from a variety of activities like basketball, creative arts, learning about spiritual gifts, sign language, and more which gives them opportunities to try something new while building friendships in a fun, safe environment.

You can make a camp payment HERE. Final payments are due by April 18.
Is there a fundraising opportunity to help with cost?
Yes! Check with Kenny.Goubert@summitchurch.org for more details.
What is the theme for camp this year?
The 2026 camp theme is “The Good Shepherd,” based on Psalm 23. Throughout the week, students explore how God provides peace, restoration, presence, and abundant life through Jesus.
What does a typical day at camp look like?
Each day includes breakfast, morning worship, Bible study, quiet time, recreation, Track Times, evening worship, church group time, and supervised free time. Lights out is at 11:30 PM, and students are in their rooms by 11:00 PM.
What are Track Times?
Track Times are afternoon special-interest classes where students either learn something new or enjoy an activity they love. Tracks range from creative options like drama and creative movement, to classroom tracks such as learning about spiritual gifts, to active tracks like basketball and volleyball.
How are students placed into Bible study groups?
Students are placed into Bible study groups with students from other churches based on grade completed:
6th–8th grade
9th–10th grade
11th–12th grade
What is the Bible study teaching approach?
Bible study sessions last 45–50 minutes and use a guided-discovery learning approach, not lecturing. Sessions include discussion and interactive activities to help students understand and apply God’s Word to their daily lives.
All Bible study leaders teach directly from the Bible Study Leader Guide and follow a consistent teaching plan. Lessons are part of a larger, unified theme that connects every aspect of camp. Parents also have a devotional to follow along with what your student is learning throughout the week, and also provides ways you can pray for them from home.
Is there personal devotional time?
Yes. Each day includes 15 minutes of quiet time before Bible study. Students receive a Camp Guide with daily devotionals to help them spend personal time with God.
How do students choose their Track Times?
Students will select their Track Time preferences before arriving at camp. Parents and students will choose preferences together during the camp waiver process, which is required for track assignments.
Who leads and supervises students at camp?
FUGE’s highly trained staff lead programming, while Summit Church group leaders are present throughout the week to support, supervise, and invest in students relationally.
What’s included with camp?
FUGE Camps provides the programming, meals, lodging, and activities, allowing leaders to focus on spending meaningful time with students. There are additional dining options that are not covered by the registration fee and students will need to bring their own money if they wish to purchase anything.
Where do the students sleep?
Each building will be designated by gender and students will be separated by male and female in dorm rooms. Typically there are 2-4 students per room and each room has a full bathroom.
I heard there is a Chick-Fil-A, is that true?
There sure is! NGU has a Chick-Fil-A on campus, as well as a grab-and-go style store. These are not included in the camp fee.
Are cell phones allowed at camp?
Phones are not allowed during programming, such as worship, Bible study, recreation, or Track Times. Any electronic communication devices (phones, tablets, watches, etc.) will be turned in to Summit leaders each night. Students are encouraged to bring a digital alarm clock or a non-smart watch to keep time during overnight hours.
What is the dress code?
FUGE Camps has a modest dress code for all students. This includes appropriate-length shorts, shirts, and footwear. Closed-toe shoes are required for recreation and Track Times.

Is there a parent meeting?
