What is the Tailgate Fellowship?
It’s a relaxed, churchwide hangout on our field where we’ll eat good food, enjoy fellowship, and spend time together, tailgate style!
Where will the event be held?
On the church field.
How does the food work?
Each connection class will coordinate what type of food they want to bring... think of it as lots of mini potlucks all in one place! Your class leader will share details about what to bring.
What should I bring?
Each class will coordinate food and any setup items like chairs, tables, or tents. Plan on bringing a lawn chair or blanket, for sure.
Do I need to bring anything if I’m not in a connection class?
You’re still welcome! Feel free to jump in with a connection class for food or bring something simple to share. (FIND A CONNECTION CLASS)
Will food be provided by the church?
Food will be provided through each Connection class rather than by the church directly.
Is this event family-friendly?
Of course! This event is for everyone... kids, students, adults, and grandparents (or GREAT-grandparents!)
What will kids be doing?
There will be games and activities set up just for kids so they can play, have fun, and enjoy the afternoon too.
What should I wear?
Just be casual and comfortable!
Do I need to register?
No registration needed, just show up and join the fun.
What’s the purpose of this event?
To build community, strengthen relationships, and enjoy unhurried time together as a church family.
What if the weather is bad?
If it rains, the Tailgate Fellowship will be moved inside the sanctuary. We’ll still gather, eat, and enjoy time together, just indoors instead.
