Sanctified: The 2027 SWO College Retreat
The college years have a way of putting everything on the table. Faith, identity, what we actually believe about God, and how that should shape our lives. All of it gets questioned, sometimes gently and sometimes all at once.
That season can be dangerous if we don't land somewhere solid. As followers of Christ, we believe that solid ground is found in the person and work of Jesus Christ, and in the salvation He offers us. Scripture calls us to set Christ apart as holy in our hearts, and that single decision becomes a guiding principle for how we think and how we live.
If you're committed to following Jesus more deeply, abiding in His Word, and being a light in the darkness, the SWO College Retreat was built with you in mind.
2027 Teaching Focus: Sanctified
Sanctification is the process of being made more like Jesus. We're always being transformed into the likeness of something. The question is what.
No one drifts toward holiness. It happens only by God's grace and our pursuit of Him.
Scripture is full of language describing this process: putting on the new self (Ephesians 4:24), being transformed by the renewal of our minds (Romans 12:2), being conformed to the image of Christ (Romans 8:29).
This winter at the College Retreat, we'll be digging into the practice and process of sanctification. The weekend will be full of teaching, worship, recreation, and plenty of good conversation.
