It's Shoebox Time! Join Us for Operation Christmas Child
Every November, our church family gets the chance to put love in a box and send it to a child who might otherwise get nothing for Christmas. Operation Christmas Child, through Samaritan's Purse, delivers shoeboxes filled with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items to kids around the world, often alongside the gospel message that changes lives far beyond the wrapping paper.
This year we'd love for you to be part of it. There are three simple ways to help.
1. Pack a Shoebox
Grab an empty shoebox, fill it with small toys, school supplies, and hygiene items, and bring it back in. It's hands-on, it's fun for the whole family, and it's a great way to teach kids about generosity. LINK: How to Pack a Shoebox
2. Shop the Amazon Wish List
Short on time? Click HERE and pick an item straight from our Amazon Wish List.
3. Cover the Cost of Shipping
Every box costs money to ship overseas. Give cash or a check made out to Samaritan's Purse, or donate online at samaritanspurse.org/occ.
Mark Your Calendar:
November 2 — Wish list donations are due so our team has time to pack shoeboxes.
November 9 — We pack shoeboxes together.
November 15 — Shoebox Sunday! Kids carry the finished boxes to the front of the Worship Center, and we pray over every one before they head out.
